It begins!

After months of planning, our Africa trip is about to commence. We sit here at the airport waiting for our plane to board, mind you we still have a couple of hours before take off. 

Trying to pack was hard, no matter how prepared you think you'll be, there will always be something you wished you remembered to pack... Like my inflatable neck pillow. It's been a long day, weekend, week leading up to today. I'm glad we're off on the next adventure of our lives, but I'll admit I'll miss my cats. They have seen the luggage and they know that means we're leaving and of course they have to be extra snugly and lovey when that happens. They will be well taken care of while we're gone, I don't doubt that. 

I'm already exhausted and ready for bed, just the thought of what's to come for the next 36 hours is exhausting enough. Hopefully this means I'll sleep on the plane.
